Mission
The mission of The
Learning Center (TLC) Online at The EnglishCenter is to provide workforce development related Adult
Basic Education (ABE), GED Preparation, and post-secondary adult
vocational programs to adults by crossing traditional geographic
boundaries through the use of evolving Internet and computer-based
technology. The district was created as a result of a Workforce Development
Capitalization Incentive Grant funded by the Florida Post-Secondary
Education Planning Commission, the Florida Department of Education, and
the Jobs and Education Partnership Regional Board.
All students must now come to The EnglishCenter
to register for online classes. Online registrations can no longer be
processed.

some modules in SkillsTutor and Flash 9, it is recommended that
