Distance
learning can be accomplished using many different methods. The key
element is the student/teacher interaction through e-mail, telephone calls,
and sometimes even through face-to-face contact.
Currently we are using a "web only" model for
delivering distance education. All of the materials the student
uses are contained in the content of the web pages.
We are using online lessons through Learning Station and through Skills
Tutor for GED and Basic Skills Training.
For ESOL classes, we are hosting web content on our servers that are
delivered via a web content delivery system called WebCT.
We are constantly working to discover new ways to deliver distance
learning more effectively and may be using different models, systems, or
programs in the future. To take note of changes see the
"What's New" section of our home page. Changes in course
delivery models will be posted here as they occur.
