This 1200—hour program covers the area of designing and developing interactive, database-driven Web-based applications using Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and ASP.NET with Microsoft Visual Studio - framework as the Web/database connectivity middleware technology. We also cover the latest and standards technologies such as WPF, Silverlight, WCF, JavaScript, JQuery, LinQ, Entity Framework, WIF, ADO.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, AJAX, Dynamic Data, Transact-SQL, UML, HTML, XML, Web services, and others.
Each vocational class lasts one term; therefore, the more classes taken per term, the sooner a program can be completed (i.e. if two classes per term, student can complete program in 2 terms or 9 months). The school provides state of the art computer equipment as well as any needed equipment for class use. All students who plan to enroll in a vocational course must read and understand the English language. If a student did not achieve a passing score on the admission test, s/he is encouraged to attend the VPI lab to improve their language and math skills prior the completion of the program.
Certificate of Achievement
A certificate of achievement is issued upon the completion of program standards based on Occupational Completion Points (OCP)
Certificate of Completion
A certificate of completion is issued to Program Completers who obtain all Occupational Completion Points (OCP) and pass the Basic skills requirements for the program.
