Students will learn how to use the advanced database features of Access including: adding and moving fields in a table design; adding graphics to a form or report; using OLE; creating a command button on a form; creating a custom dialog box; developing databases; creating a form based on joined tables; creating a macro to control form properties; creating single- and multi-parameter queries.

CorelDRAW 10.0 (B070600.D1)
Teaches how to use drawing tools on the computer to simulate most of the tools artist would use manually. But it goes beyond by giving the ability to make adjustments on the drawings, and to apply several more effects such as extruding, blending, colorizing and embossing. The course encourages the students to be creative and develop their potential as artists. Students also learn to merge photographs with their drawings, and how to prepare artwork for both the Web and the printed page.

Photoshop 7 (B070600.D2)
Covers such photo editing tools as scanning, tonal adjustments, hues and saturation. Also the students learn to paint original artwork from black and white sketches or totally from scratch on the computer, to create composites and collages. The proper use of selection tools and the effective use of levels along with neat tricks with lots of filters help the graduates meet their goals to work in the graphic arts field.

Illustrator 10 (B070600.D4)
This program is very similar to CorelDRAW in that it covers techniques for drawing on the computer. Illustrator is the defacto standard in the professional graphic arts field for computerized drawing programs. The course includes instruction on how to merge photos with drawings, how to apply special effects, special brushes and all the artistic filters necessary for a professional drawing program. It is designed specially for the printed page but its latest enhancements make it ideal for creating Web graphics also.

FreeHand (B070500.C3)
Basic HTML, FreeHand web site creation and management tool gives you everything you need to create and manage exactly the site you want, whether you are creating a personal web page or a corporate Internet or Intranet site.

Fireworks MX (B070500.C2)
Macromedia Fireworks MX is a professional web graphic design and production program that lets you easily create web images, navigation bars and animations for use on the Internet.

Dreamweaver MX (B070500.C2)
This is everything you need to create a professional web site whether you prefer to work with familiar visual layout tools or demand the control of a robust text-editing environment. It is simple to use and no HTML coding experience is needed.

Flash MX (B070500.C4)
Flash MX is the key to designing and delivering low-bandwidth animations, presentations and web sites. The student will learn to create interactive web pages with sound and motion, and to create from a simple animation to a complex interactive splash page.

Our programs are instructor led, and are designed as hands-on workshops in small groups. Our dedicated team of instructors together brings more than 200 years of experience, in the fields of professional training, software applications, manufacturing, design and production. Our focus is on intensive technology based job skills training. In an effort to accommodate varying study schedules, TEC offers day, half-day and evening classes.
